About the design
My Pimped Up product is originally inspired by music visualization. I used ribbons to create an visible sound waves on the sofa that added an emotion on sofa. It also created another shape of sofa with an interesting surface texture.

I think this year has seen a lot of change with regard to how we see and feel about textures. Textures can really enhance the look of a space and this piece has clearly had a lot of hard work put into it. I think Yau has cleverly picked up on this theme and interpreted it to reflect musical vibration.

This is an amazing piece which is well balanced in both creative and functional aspects.

from: Edwin Chan

I appreciate his brilliance. He must took a lot of imagination to come up with such an ingenious idea.

Fully conveyed the concept of visualizing Music. The arrangement of different texture successfully hint the rythm and volume of sounds. Fairly keeps the aesthetic in a revolutionary and artistic way. impressing and inspiring. make viewer feel rich in emotion but is dealing with it calmly. Marvelous.
